STORES.
SYSTEMS.
YOUR WAY.
I've stood on both sides — the person with the work and the person who builds the frame for it.
Your work shouldn't need you in the room to explain it. I build the thing that does that — for designers, photographers, festivals, anyone whose work is worth finding.

FIXED STARTS.
CUSTOM ENDS.
Every project is different. I build what you need. That said, here's a starting point.
DM me or email me. Send references, a rough timeline, what you're trying to build. I'll get back to you within a day.
If you know what you want, I build it. If you don't, I show you options. I work best when I can come in, see your work, and build upon what you already have — or start completely from scratch and propose something new. We use Figma to track revisions. No comment is ignored. Everything required gets implemented.
Most projects ship in 1-2 weeks. The biggest hurdle is usually approvals and redesign loops. When the direction is clear, I move fast. Your site gets proper SEO, correct schema markup, the technical care that makes it fast and findable. I know how a website works from top to bottom and back again — from the first pixel to the last.
Launch is when it starts working. I include three months of post-launch support in every project. We do checkins to see if there's anything else I can update to help your brand grow alongside the website. After that, maintenance is optional but recommended.
THINK
IN SYSTEMS.
BUILD
IN CODE.
I spent years in architecture studios. H2O in Melbourne, MEI and De Zwarte Hond in Rotterdam. I loved the work. I kept hitting the same wall: the systems were fragile, and the websites were worse.
I started building to solve my own problems. Sample Sync came out of years watching material samples disappear in architecture studios — expensive, loss-leading, no visibility. Then friends asked for websites. Then their referrals. 14 sites later, I work from De Kroon in Rotterdam.
Once a client came to me after a Dutch agency had built their site. Everything outsourced. Every change cost money. Three layers between them and the person pushing buttons.
That's not how I work. One person who designs, codes, and stays after launch. Direct. No layers.
Rotterdam is where I work. People come here from smaller cities to start their practices — designers, photographers, makers. I've been building sites for that community for three years. I know the scene because I'm in it.
I build the framework a practice grows into. I don't just make websites.
Send me what you're building. References, examples, a rough timeline. I'll reply straight — whether I can help, what it would take, when we could launch. No sales pitch, just the reality. Email is best. DM works too.
Throw "Let's work together" in the subject line and I'll know what it's about.
DM @bigolssPhotography keeps me honest. Forces me to look at the world as it is, not how I want it to be. When I'm not at a screen, I'm walking around with a camera.
Buildings, streets, cities. Rotterdam, Tbilisi, Iran, wherever else I end up. Self-published zines — sold about 50 copies internationally via crowdfunding. Available for commissions: architecture, interiors, urban environments.
Furniture and objects made from recycled paper, metal, and plastic. Two years at Plasticiet — moulds, material testing, finished pieces. Code is clean, but plastic is messy. I like getting my hands dirty.
Also film sets, light installations for collectors, prototypes. Custom work on request.
I write about freelancing and how I organise work. Mostly things I've figured out the hard way.
